When is Water Jetting Pipes Necessary?

When you have a clogged sewer line water jetting can get water flowing normally again. Hydro jetting uses a very powerful stream of water to force its way through your sewer pipes, cleaning out anything in its path. Whether the blockage is due to normal build up from waste and sediment, or something more unusual, sewer jetting can remove it. The stream of water is even powerful enough to break up roots growing in pipes and foreign objects that have made their way into your pipes as well.

Residential water jetting can remove silt, hair, grease, waste, and invasive roots among other things from pipes. Commercial water jetting is most often used to clean out grease and oil traps.

If you have experienced a sewer backup or notice serious plumbing problems related to water going down slowly across multiple plumbing areas (like toilets, sinks, and showers), it’s time to call in a professional plumber to assess the problem. An experienced plumber will likely do a camera inspection in your pipes to determine what the cause could be and then come up with a plan for how to fix it.
